I’m really enjoying hearing your feedback about the new place! Hopefully, the new page is showing up for everyone. Yesterday afternoon, some had a little difficulty getting the new site to come up…let me know if it’s still not working for you.

So Matt’s telling me I have to learn Photoshop now…like I NEED one more thing to learn. Sheesh. I’ve been knowing it was coming, though…if I want to have a nice website, I need to get better at the picture thing. I’ve tried reading a little bit about it and it is literally like I am reading Japanese…not Spanish, where you can make out a word here and there…no, Japanese.

It doesn’t help that camera literate people flop out terminology like they’re talking about a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

First you take two pieces of bread.

And peanut butter.

And jelly.

And a knife.

And you spread the peanut butter on a piece of bread.

And you spread the jelly on a piece of bread.

And you have a peanut butter jelly sandwich!

Sorry. Inside joke.

Would you believe I REALLY had that conversation with someone one time? Tosh was with me as Said Person proceeded to tell us how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich…with a Valley Girl accent…and COMPLETELY serious.

Tosh and I looked at each other in amazement, got in the car away from That Person and LAUGHED OUR HEADS OFF.

We feel the need to remind each other how to make one every now and then.

I wish Valley Girl would teach me how to take good pictures.

Or a couple of my beloved photographer friends. You know who you are. It’d have to be peanut butter and jelly though.

Here, let me try something out on you…you can be with me from the beginning, tracking one stinky picture at a time…

Hopefully, together, we will see some progress.
