How many of you stayed up all night watching the royal wedding?
I slept very peacefully and watched the footage throughout the morning. Nate dvr’d it for me, but there was really no need with it playing on so many stations throughout the day.
I thought it was a beautiful wedding…truly beautiful. They both seem kind-hearted and loving to each other. I hope they will be very happy together. Princess Kate’s dress was lovely and she looked radiant. She carried herself with such grace.
Speaking of grace, her dress reminds me so much of Princess Grace’s wedding dress…she was such a beautiful bride too.
I loved when Princess Kate’s brother quoted Romans 12~ I haven’t heard that at a wedding before and it was perfect. I had many sad moments thinking about Princess Diana. Yes, as a girl, I was glued to her wedding to Prince Charles. I also remember waking up in the middle of the night and hearing about her death. It hurts my heart that she was not there for her sweet prince’s wedding.
The hats, oh, the hats…so many get an “A” for Gutsy.
And a few get an “A++” for Outstanding.
This one is massive, but if you’re going to go big, I’d MUCH rather do this…

Bless their hearts…those hats just seem to be begging to be made fun of…particularly the wrought iron bow.
This might have been a little safer version and they do pull it off very well…the gorgeous Spencer girls. I might be a little frightened of them, though…
I think the Duchess of Kent is DARLING…
Now, that’s how you wear a hat…and pink, for that matter.
But this next one is my FAVORITE…Princess Letizia of Spain. I love everything about her outfit.

Apparently, Little Peanut on the bottom left did not approve of all the noise, either from the crowd or the planes overhead…SO cute!
My wish is for the world to now let these newlyweds love each other in peace. We’ve been allowed into their wedding, maybe now they can have privacy. I pray happiness, love, health and safety for Prince William and Princess Kate. Amen.
