This lovely lady is one of the sweetest, most positive, and loving people I know…my Great-Aunt Virginia…

She was married to my grandfather’s brother~ Uncle Charles~ for 60 3/4 years…that’s how she says it. They pastored for many years and after that, she worked in a daycare up until a couple years ago. She’s 85. Isn’t she a doll?

To know her is to love her. It just makes you feel good to be around her. I love people like that.

When we left her house, we got stuck in a traffic jam. There was a Justin Bieber concert in Little Rock, of all things. It took QUITE a while to get through the cars of primping adolescent girls with their eye-rolling mothers. Bieber fever, indeed.

Our evening was spent at home. The kids made Dandy Dogs (corn dogs) with Papa…so fun and SO good!

Hard at work…

Look at those beauties…hold on a minute….what was…that?

Let’s just say Indie stepped on a loose board…shot the bunny…you can fill in the blank…

Never a dull moment.

  2. I want one of those corn dogs! Or two or three… They look scrumptious!

The series of pictures is too cute! Anyone with siblings (especially brothers!) gets it.

Ahhh…. Such great memories. They will never forget these special moments with their Papa! (I haven’t had a corn dog in years! Do you dip them in jiffy mix?) might have to try to make some! ;-)

It’s my Mema’s special recipe, but I think Jiffy would work too!
