I hear myself often telling my kids, “In a little while.” Maybe it’s something they’re wanting me to do with them or something they’re asking if they can do.
Indigo will say, “In a little…what’s a little?”
Lately, he’s been saying, “A little is a lot.”
The other day when he said it again, I said, “No, a little is a little.”
He said, “No, a little is a lot.”
I said, “Well, a little is more than nothing.”
He laughed and said, “See? A little is a lot!”
I laughed hard along with him, but that conversation really struck me. I find myself wanting to think more like he thinks.
